Who are we?

Grassfield Baptist Church has been worshipping God and ministering to needs in the heart of Chesapeake, Virginia for over 60 years. Members of the Southern Baptist Convention, we participate in many community service projects such as Meals on Wheels, sharing the love of God with others out of gratitude for what He has shown to us.

Our Vision

The greatest calling of Grassfield Baptist Church is to glorify God! To that end, our vision is to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to promote God’s Word as the absolute authority in all aspects of life; to live out God’s commandment on love by how we view and treat others, offering gracious hospitality to all; and to be missional in our service to the community, promoting the truth of God that brings healing and peace through his grace.
